About
I don’t have a psychology degree. I’m not a therapist, a healer, or anyone’s guide. What I have is anxiety, and a spiritual life I can’t seem to put down — and years of trying to figure out how both of those things can be true at once.
Most days, they don’t feel like they belong together. I’ll sit down to meditate and my mind will not stop moving. I’ll pray for peace and get a panic attack instead. I’ve read enough about the nervous system to know what’s happening in my body, and it still happens anyway.
This is a blog for the middle of that. Not the healed version, looking back and explaining it neatly. The actual middle — where you’re doing the work and still having hard days, where you believe in something bigger and still can’t calm down, where you’ve read all the books and none of it fully lands.
You are not broken. You are becoming.
I write about anxiety and the body. About shadow work, and the parts of myself I’m still meeting. About the inner child, the intuition I’m learning to trust, the practices that help on some days and do nothing on others. I write it the way it actually happened, not the way it would sound in a caption.
I’m not going to tell you what to do. I don’t have a five-step plan, and I wouldn’t trust it if I did. What I can offer is honesty — what I tried, what shifted, what didn’t. You take what’s useful and leave the rest.
If you’ve ever felt like your anxiety and your spirituality were arguing with each other, I think you’ll find something here. This is a place to be in progress. No one here has it figured out. That’s kind of the whole point.
This isn’t a replacement for therapy, and I’ll never pretend it is. If you’re struggling, please reach out to someone qualified to help. This is a companion for the rest of it — the parts that happen between sessions, at 2am, in the quiet.
Come back when you’re ready. No rush.
